Hybrid Work Arrangement: In this position, you should plan to spend time working in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. Associates are expected to be able to travel to and from your assigned office location as part of a hybrid work arrangement. Work arrangements could change over time based on business need.

In order to enable our associates to grow, P&C Actuarial offers a competitive Exam Support program for associates pursuing their actuarial designations.
Our P&C Actuarial Analysts develop actuarial recommendations for leadership and implement changes to satisfy the financial objectives of the enterprise. They also develop and apply actuarial modeling techniques to solve actuarial problems, conduct actuarial research, identify solutions to actuarial problems, and analyze and prepare responses to various actuarial questions/issues.
Our P&C Actuarial Analysts serve as valued resources to other State Farm areas.
Qualifications
We Are Looking for Candidates With:
- Experienced Actuarial Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
- Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management or other analytics majors preferred.
- Experience with data and statistical analysis in Excel and Python required.
- Experience with unsupervised learning preferred.
- Experience with catastrophe risk management analytics and reinsurance preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
- Successful completion of at least three Casualty Actuarial Society exams required.
- ACAS or FCAS designation preferred.
What You Can Expect
Incumbency: There is a 12-month incumbency for promotional moves and a 24-month incumbency for lateral moves. The incumbency period will begin on the employee’s effective date and must be met before the employee can post for other State Farm positions.

Potential starting base salary at $110,000 (reflecting 3 exams and 2 years of experience) and will increase with relevant experience and passed exams. Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience.
High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience.
Actuarial Exam Support/reimbursements and salary increases for passed exams.
Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary.
