Duration: 1 Year Rotation
Salary: ÂŁ25,000 - ÂŁ27,500 per year (dependent on location) + Fantastic Benefits
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Gain a deep and valuable insight into the actuarial world after your second year at university with our 12-month undergraduate industrial placement.
During the placement, you’ll complete a rotation in one of our actuarial functions, which may include:
- Pricing
- Reserving
- Regulatory Reporting
- Claims Analytics
- Group Actuarial
No two days are the same during the 12-month placement. You’ll face a mix of challenges, mutual support, and accelerated skills development through our development programme. You’ll also shadow senior colleagues to gain valuable insight and enhance your network.
At the end of a successful placement, there is the potential to be fast-tracked for a place on our graduate scheme.

Qualifications and Training:
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Current undergraduate student in your penultimate year of your degree
- Numerical based degree, such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Economics
- Be on track to achieve at least a 2.1 in your degree
- Have achieved an ABB at A-Level or equivalent, with a minimum grade in A-Level in Maths (or equivalent)
Skills and Knowledge:

- An interest in developing deep analysis of large data sets using tools such as AI and coding
- Effective self-organisation and ability to plan ahead
- Positive, can-do attitude, proactive and take the initiative

- Strong self-awareness with a drive for personal development
- Able to take a commercial approach
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
