Our Actuarial & Risk team provides market leading advice to clients in the financial services sector and further afield. We consult extensively to the life insurance, general insurance, health insurance and pensions sectors, as well as to the banking and other non-traditional areas. We specialise in developing bespoke solutions that are theoretically robust but also pragmatic to implement and commercially sound.

A look into the role
As an Actuarial and Risk General Insurance Assistant Manager within our Actuarial & Risk team, you will:
- Build your personal brand by being part of a team researching and working on projects relating to a specific technical area.
- Support on various projects and delivery of client work as well as leading the delivery on smaller projects. You will engage with key stakeholders on a regular basis to help ensure deadlines are met, risks are managed, and the quality of work is to the highest standard.
- Support the development of more junior members of the team, helping them understand their career aspirations and assisting with their delivery.
Knowing you're right for us
Joining us as an Actuarial and Risk General Insurance Assistant Manager, the minimum criteria you'll be a part-qualified actuary, making good progress towards qualification, with UK professional services experience. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.
- Experience in actuarial modelling, capital, reserving or pricing
- Ability to adapt quickly, work to tight deadlines and a track record of producing high quality work
