Description and Requirements

Role Value Proposition

Responsible for Regional pricing review and Valuation in the Malaysia Center of Excellence (CoE). Supporting Regional Actuary on people development, addressing business-related concerns, and driving continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing Pricing review team and Valuation team in the CoE.
• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and oversees the daily operation for Pricing and Valuation.
• Provide guidance to team members on product, pricing, and valuation related activities.
• Lead the team to execute and improve existing controls and processes by leveraging AI tools.
• Collaborates with peers to fully understand the needs and issues to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Responsible for the performance evaluation process for team members.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required

• Bachelor degree in mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science with at least 12 years working experience.
• Fellow actuary, or high potential to be Fellow within a year.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to analyze, interpret, and address customer needs.
• Experience with AI tools and actuarial modelling software such as Python, Prophet, or Axis.
