What the day will look like

In this role, you will support Aon Business Services’ Internal Consulting team on a multi-year operating model transformation, translating data into insights that guide strategic decisions.

  • Collaborating with transformation, operations, and technology teams to define data needs across finance, operations, client, and workforce domains
  • Extracting, cleaning, validating, and analyzing data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Identifying trends, patterns, and performance drivers (e.g., capacity utilization, cost-to-serve, FTE allocation) and translating them into impactful insights
  • Building and maintaining dashboards and reports (e.g., benchmarks, progress tracking, risk and issue reporting) using tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • Automating reporting processes and supporting governance standards across the program
  • Providing data-driven input to support the design and implementation of the target operating model
  • Supporting measurement frameworks, including baseline vs. future-state KPIs and adoption metrics
  • Collaborating with collaborators globally, presenting findings, and proactively addressing data quality issues

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Consultant, ideally within transformation, operating model, or change programs
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI); working knowledge of SQL or similar tools is an advantage
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets and apply statistical techniques such as trend and variance analysis
  • Diligent, organized, and collaborative, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
