Aon is currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join an existing team within its MGA business. The successful candidate will be partaking in a plethora of activities including understanding business needs, analysing processes and data, and translating requirements into clear, actionable solutions.

This role partners closely with stakeholders across the business and technology teams, leveraging data analysis, basic coding skills, and automation tools to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real change within a small, welcoming team.

The Senior Business Analyst will drive measurable business value by improving process efficiency, reducing manual effort through automation opportunities, and enhancing the quality of solutions delivered.

By translating business needs into clear requirements and data-driven insights, this role strengthens alignment between business and technology, supports better decision-making, and improves the experience for both internal users and customers.

• Insurance knowledge specifically Lloyd’s market is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems through logical thinking.
• Strong written and verbal communication including the ability to present to non-technical audiences.
• High attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities across the organisation and at all levels of seniority.
• Commercial acumen and awareness of the wider insurance market.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritising effectively to achieve successful delivery.
• Analytical and logical thinker.
• Skilled at simplifying complex information.
• Experience of working in Agile environments with tools such as JIRA.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively on technical topics in both technology and insurance domains.
