Manager/Senior Manager Actuarial CoE (Asia)

Description and Requirements

Role Value Proposition:

Responsible for Japan Regional reporting and analysis in the Malaysia Center of Excellence (CoE). Supporting Regional Actuary on people development, related business concerns, and driving continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Japan (VNB and USGAAP) valuation and reporting
• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and oversees the daily operation
• Execute and improve existing controls and processes by leveraging AI tools
• Collaborates with peers to fully understand the needs and issues to deliver high-quality solutions
• Responsible for the performance evaluation process for team members

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

• Bachelor degree in mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science with at least 10 years working experience
• Strong candidate with less working experience will be considered for Manager Role
• Fellow actuary, or high potential to be Fellow within two years
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to analyze, interpret, and address customer needs
• Experience with AI tools and actuarial modeling software such as Python, Prophet, or Axis
