General Description of Role:

Assist consultants and other stakeholders for the US Health and Benefits domain, delivering RFP/Renewal reports to clients.

Work on the internal client database tool to update policy information related to US health and benefit plans.

Provide clients with market insights and a measure of how their benefit programs compare to the competition.

Deliver reports based on various parameters such as premium, claims, and loss ratios.

The process involves analysis of healthcare product information provided by vendors and onshore consultants pertaining to premium, claims, and plan attributes.

Job Responsibilities:

The colleague provides high-quality administration support for internal and external clients by:

  • Assisting consultants and other stakeholders for the Health and Benefits domain, delivering EMR/Renewal, Plan Management, and financial reports to clients.
  • Tracking and analyzing medical/Rx claims, funding, expenses, and budgets, including utilization metrics and key cost drivers.
  • Supporting budget projections and actuarial plan design modeling for medical/Rx plans.
  • Performing contribution modeling, stop-loss analysis, and related financial analytics based on client demographics, plan design, and network discounts.
  • Providing marketing support by analyzing administrator/network discounts and disruption for vendor and network evaluations.
  • Maintaining a clear understanding of the business end-to-end and continuously working on the team’s growth through new transitions and scope.
  • Preparing client-ready reports and correspondence, and performing peer reviews of data and reports.
  • Supporting client meetings and drafting presentations to clients.
  • Assisting with complex ad-hoc client requests, working with carriers and other business units to resolve and support clients.
  • Preparing and presenting SLA performance reports, dashboards, and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Championing the use of Aon’s methodologies, tools, and guidelines across engagements, driving operational excellence and process efficiency through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
  • Providing strategic insight by maintaining deep, current knowledge of the group benefits industry, including products, systems, market trends, emerging technologies, and legislative developments.
  • Owning stakeholder management through clear, timely, and influence-based communication, ensuring alignment, managing expectations, and resolving issues proactively.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing team members, strengthening overall team capability and overseeing the creation and enhancement of training materials and SOPs.
  • Cultivating and sustaining strong, trusted relationships with cross-functional colleagues, client teams, senior client collaborators, and carriers to support collaborative, high-impact delivery.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, in Financial Services or related fields such as Mathematics, Business Management, or Statistics.
  • Proven ability to handle and improve operational processes (SOPs, standardization, automation, and quality tracking).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead, organize, and coordinate complex projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Strong technical expertise with a proven track record of staying current on industry trends.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (including functions, lookups, pivots/dynamic pivots, dashboards) and data-driven solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, working effectively both independently and collaboratively as a key member of cross-functional teams.
  • Recognized as a technical guide and effective mentor, coach, and role model for junior and peer team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation capabilities.
  • Highly flexible, proactive, and accountable, demonstrating a collaborative approach in working with colleagues and key collaborators.
  • Self-driven, with strong curiosity and a growth mindset, consistently pursuing continuous learning and innovation.
