Senior Technical Lead

Canada Life is seeking a hands‑on Technical Lead to support delivery and modernization of key actuarial and financial reporting applications. These systems support valuation, capital reporting, regulatory compliance, and actuarial analytics across a mix of legacy and modern platforms including SAP HANA, cloud‑based analytics, .NET, web applications, and SQL Server.
This role is ideal for a technically strong developer or engineer who enjoys guiding others, coordinating delivery, and contributing directly to solution design. You will collaborate with senior engineers, business partners, architects, and vendors to advance platform stability and modernization initiatives.
- JavaScript/Node.js or comparable backend frameworks
- .NET (C#) or similar object‑oriented languages
- SQL‑based databases (e.g., SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle)
- Enterprise data or analytics platforms (e.g., SAP HANA, Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent technologies)
The base salary for this position is between $102,000 - $152,000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission, etc.).
