WTW is hiring an
Actuarial Analyst
Description
We are a unique practice in the Canadian marketplace specializing in developing new insurance solutions and optimizing existing offerings for Affinity program sponsors. These programs are targeted at large customer or membership bases of clients whose core business is not always insurance, such as banks, retailers, associations, and hospitality providers. Solutions are positioned to be complementary to the core services or product offerings of these Affinity organizations.
We are seeking an aspiring actuarial analyst to join our multidisciplinary Affinity consulting team, where actuarial analytics play a central role in supporting client strategy, customer engagement, and operational excellence. You will be involved in insurance strategy development, product development, and gain exposure to a variety of insurance lines and unique solutions supporting an ever-evolving marketplace.
As an actuarial analyst, you will be a key resource in preparing and reconciling data, developing and maintaining models, and supporting consulting engagements across the practice. The ideal candidate can work well in teams and independently with appropriate guidance.
This includes assisting senior colleagues with projects related to key insurance lines such as travel insurance, embedded credit card insurance, personal home & auto insurance, and life and health insurance solutions. The successful candidate will participate in WTW's study program in pursuit of a professional actuarial designation through a recognized actuarial professional association.
