Senior Manager Applied AI & Data Intelligence

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager of Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Intelligence to join our innovative team at a leading insurance organization. We are looking for a visionary professional who excels at turning complex information into meaningful insights that shape strategy, improve operations, inspire new products and services, and strengthen risk evaluation.

In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and modern data science techniques to influence major business decisions and drive measurable impact. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the advancement of artificial intelligence and data intelligence capabilities by using modern analytical platforms and tools to automate insights, build new data solutions, create synthetic data, and apply artificial intelligence to accelerate the development of new products and services.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets—including information related to claims, underwriting, policy management, and customer behavior—to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and opportunities that support strategic growth.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance business metrics, reports, and data visualization tools for senior leaders and key business partners, incorporating advanced artificial intelligence features to improve interpretation and guide critical product and operational decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams—including product, underwriting, claims, actuarial, and technology groups—to define analytical needs and deliver impactful, data‑driven solutions.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer experience, and increase overall profitability.
  • Ensure the highest standards of data quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, supporting responsible and trustworthy use of data.
  • Mentor and guide junior analytics team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, continuous learning, and excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in data analytics, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry, with a strong background using advanced artificial intelligence tools and techniques to solve complex business problems.
  • Skilled in modern programming languages and data tools, with hands‑on experience building automated solutions and developing dynamic visual dashboards that help teams interpret data and make better decisions.
  • Proven ability to design, enhance, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting tools using advanced analytics and artificial intelligence features to support scenario planning, performance tracking, and strategic forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, risk analysis, and regulatory expectations, with the ability to apply this knowledge to deliver accurate, responsible, and compliant analytical solutions.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities, with a talent for breaking down complex issues and communicating insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects, shift priorities when needed, and perform effectively in a fast‑moving environment.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $160,200 - $214,200 annually and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay as applicable for the role.
