Legal & General is hiring a
Strategy Senior Analyst
Company Description
Legal & General (L&G) is a leading UK financial services group and major global investor. We’ve been safeguarding people’s financial futures since 1836 and strive to build a better society while improving the lives of our customers and creating value for shareholders.
We are a leading global player in pension risk transfer (PRT) and the UK’s largest Asset Manager. We’ve written more than £40bn of PRT in the last 4 years and look after around 700,000 institutional customers who have their retirement benefits secured with us.
Our Institutional Retirement division provides PRT solutions for UK and US defined benefit (DB) schemes and reinsurance solutions from our global hub in Bermuda. We work with companies, DB pension schemes, and their advisors to help them secure and protect scheme members’ retirement benefits.
Joining us means you’ll support customers’ financial security in retirement, help companies to settle their pension liabilities and focus on growing their businesses, and enable investment for the long term to back our pension promises.
Who we are
Institutional Retirement is the only insurer to have been operating continuously in the UK market from our entrance in 1987 to the present day. Our UK retirement annuity book stands at an estimated ÂŁ86.1 billion at 31 December 2023.
Across our retail and institutional retirement businesses, we look after more than 1 million customers, around 700,000 of whom are institutional customers who have had their retirement benefits secured with us.

- Conducting competitor analysis and gathering insights to inform divisional decision-making.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the division and wider Group to enable effective collaboration and awareness of evolving opportunities and pain points.

- Ability to apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to delivery.
- Ability to manage expectations effectively and keep stakeholders well informed.
- An independent thinker who can confidently debate ideas constructively, when required.

- Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax-efficient salary sacrifice.
- Discounts for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online.
- Our offices are great spaces to connect and collaborate and have your wellbeing at the heart.
