Actuary - Senior Risk Consultant (P&C)
Location: Chicago, Illinois
This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work both virtually and from our office in Chicago. More experienced candidates may be considered for an Associate Director & Actuary role.

What the Day Will Look Like:
- Serve as the lead consultant for any size account.
- Have primary project responsibility for actuarial reserve analyses, risk allocation analyses, captive feasibility studies, loss forecasting, and stochastic modeling.
- Develop a specific area of knowledge and become a recognized subject matter expert.
- Handle various, changing work assignments, flexibly balancing priorities to meet or exceed the expectations of the client (both internal and external).
- Create and improve methodology, products, and operational procedures.
- Ensure that the Aon work product is of high quality, adheres to all relevant actuarial standards, and is provided in a timely manner.
- Engage as necessary to create and foster a team culture across all account service and brokerage teams.
- Establish credibility with clients and colleagues; recognized as an effective problem solver.
Education / Experience:
- Near FCAS designation or recent FCAS designation; ACAS with significant experience to be considered.
- Maintains continuing education requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred, particularly in an actuarial function, with a focus on Commercial Property, Casualty and/or Specialty Lines.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
