Senior Actuarial Analyst
About the role:
The L&H Pricing & Contracts Team is a global team with employees located in at least 14 cities around the world. They are responsible for defining L&H risk appetite, reviewing large and unusual transactions, pricing tools, methodology and governance, new business steering, and contract wording.

This role is part of the CPT team within LHPC Bangalore and has the responsibility of maintenance and availability of the actuarial model for the pricing team. The role will provide support to the CPT team in its day-to-day activities and other requirements.
Roles and responsibilities:
- To set up and maintain inputs, organizing results for developing them into further reports, assessment of quality, and validation of results.
- To support in the development and testing of Actuarial Costing Tools with a main focus on CPT (an internal pricing tool).
- Use of Actuarial Basis โ Shareholder Reporting Rules (EVM), USGAAP for model development and its testing.
- Cross collaborate with developers and modeling actuaries to ensure correct implementation of functionality in the tool.

About you:
- 2-3 years of work experience.
- Graduate or post-graduate in Business Management, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Minimum 5 actuarial exams passed as per the new curriculum (CM1 is compulsory).
- Understand the basic insurance concepts and life products.
- Ready to take ownership of tasks and guide them to completeness.
- Must be able to interpret business specifications and ask clarifying questions.
- Ability to work accurately and deliver to deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong learning motive.
- Proficiency in working with MS Office, especially MS Excel.
