These offerings include end-to-end solutions to benefits management, alignment of your benefit plans with corporate strategy and policies, considerable purchasing leverage, and a systematic and structured approach.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Assist consultants and other stakeholders for Canada Health and Benefits domain, delivering RFP/Renewal reports to the clients. Support client teams in servicing clients with respect to plan design, contract management, and benchmarking.

Work with senior team members on a variety of client deliverables including contract reviews, plan design summaries, and prevalence benchmarking. Deliver reports based on various parameters such as premium, claims, and loss ratios. The process involves analysis of healthcare product information provided by vendors and onshore consultants pertaining to premium, claims, and plan attributes.

You will be involved with a variety of client deliverables that empower our clients to make informed decisions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The colleague provides high-quality administration support for internal and external clients by:

  • Operating as part of a team under the supervision of Project Lead/Ops Manager.
  • Leading the preparation and analysis of carrier marketing materials, benefit costings, financial statements, and RFI/RFP submissions to inform pricing strategy, optimize plan design, and support carrier selection.
  • Providing technical advice/expertise for client projects including plan design, financial and underwriting review, and insurance carrier reviews.
  • Analyzing claims and client data, identifying anomalies and cost drivers, estimating future plan costs, and developing pricing/underwriting models and financial analyses.
  • Writing and delivering reports that are well prepared and provide expert commentary and observations following the review of contracts and amendments.
  • Drafting client-ready reports and correspondence.
  • Maintaining and reviewing data collection and accuracy in Aon’s proprietary client information platform.
  • Reviewing, auditing, and maintaining client plan information.
  • Comparing and reviewing plan summaries while working with onshore teams.
  • Interpreting, organizing, and analyzing client data for specialty insurance products.
  • Preparing clear, client-ready Excel and PowerPoint reports.
  • Collaborating with Aon colleagues to apply standard methodologies and processes.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships through regular status updates, query resolution, and proactive communication.
  • Staying current on group benefits industry trends, products, tools, and technology.
  • Acting as a bridge between onshore consultants and insurance vendors to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Managing client and shared mailboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Continuously enhancing technical skills and consulting effectiveness through training and self-learning.
  • Contributing to training and capability development of Junior Analysts.

SKILLS:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including logical, financial, math, statistical, and information functions; lookups; pivot tables; and dashboards.
  • Advanced experience with VBA, SQL, or Python for process automation.
  • Knowledge of the Health & Benefits domain.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, accountable, and highly collaborative with colleagues.
  • Self-driven, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
