ED National FP&A
The Executive Director of FP&A will serve as a change agent to transform the National FP&A into a more automated, data-driven organization that provides timely, comprehensive, and actionable insight to KP leadership.
This role will lead the implementation of the new financial planning tool that will drive financial performance management through the enterprise. In addition, the Executive Director will lead automation of value-added analytics that support strategic decisions and identify further performance improvement opportunities.
This position will also oversee the Central Analytics and the System teams to improve the current National FP&A processes and drive more efficient, timely, and accurate results.
Essential Responsibilities:- Lead enterprise-wide implementation of a new, dynamic financial planning tool that will allow the FP&A community flexibility to meet increased expectations of speed and quality of analytics. The tool's span will cover:
- National FP&A including Central Analytics, National Functions, Cost Structure, and Metric/Dashboard Support
- Regional FP&A
- Medical Centers, National Functions & Business Support
- Lead improvement opportunities for automation. Improve current systems and automation of processes. Engage with the FP&A team members and continue to identify large portions of work that can be automated.
- Engage with cross-functional leadership to implement improvements in the National FP&A organization into all Markets and National Functions (where applicable).
- Evolve and improve the National FP&A team by implementing best practices based on industry context and the types of users and audiences.
Experience:
- Minimum ten (10) years of expertise in financial and strategic planning and tools.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree
License, Certification, Registration:
- N/A
- Thorough experience with implementing and optimizing Financial Planning tools (Hyperion, TM1, and similar) to drive performance.
- Thorough knowledge of process and tool enhancements, optimization, and financial systems integration.
- Master's preferred.
