What Is the Opportunity?
We’re looking for a talented Pricing Actuary to take a leading role in Cyber and Delegated Authority (DA) pricing within our Financial Lines business, which exceeds £300 million in premium.
This is a high-impact opportunity to lead pricing for Cyber, one of our largest and fastest-growing products. Following the acquisition of Corvus, Cyber is a key strategic area for growth over the next five years.
The role also offers scope to lead DA pricing across our Financial Lines portfolio, a £100m+ area of business that continues to expand.
We’re looking for someone with strong cyber insurance pricing experience, ideally with exposure to DA and the Lloyd’s market. You’ll be a qualified actuary or qualified by experience, with the confidence to influence strategy and deliver meaningful insights.
Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full-time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.
What Will You Do?
- Lead actuarial pricing for Cyber across Travelers Europe.
- Develop and enhance pricing models to improve risk selection.
- Provide strategic insights into overall portfolio performance.
- Partner with senior underwriters to shape Cyber growth strategy.
- Develop a more mature pricing framework for our DA portfolio, including rate adequacy measures.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends and developments in the Cyber landscape.

What is a Must Have?
- Bachelor’s Degree required in a STEM subject.
- Fully qualified actuary or qualified by experience.
- Previous experience within actuarial pricing.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Strong understanding of insurance products and industry.
- Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to present and translate complex information in relevant business terms.
- Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Begins to challenge conventional thinking.
