Accounting & Reporting Specialist & Actuary

If you want to experience how things are done in the Finance Global Services team at our headquarters in Hannover, Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as an Accounting & Reporting Specialist / Actuary.

You can look forward to:

• Contributing to the further development of the financial system landscape (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA)
• Implementing process improvements in Hannover Re Group accounting and consolidation
• Collaborating on cross-departmental and cross-functional projects, taking on responsibility aligned with your experience
• Active involvement in connecting the international finance community
• Carrying out training sessions and providing expert support on accounting-related topics

You come equipped with:

• Excellent master’s degree in (financial or business) mathematics or accounting
• Professional experience in financial reporting, group accounting and consolidation or in actuarial science is desirable
• Experience in a cross-functional role is an advantage
• Ideally, knowledge of SAP systems
• Business-fluent English and conversational German as well as confident demeanor towards internal and external stakeholders
• Impressive conceptual and analytical skills, with a team-oriented mindset
