Actuarial Adviser

Salary: circa £27,000 - £30,000

This is a great role if you’d like to make a real difference by inventively applying (and developing) your existing skills in any of actuarial work, business change, and/or equity release product management.

A bit about the job:

As a Product Development Pricing team, we work closely with various Aviva projects to deliver improvements to our Equity Release proposition. This is a great opportunity to develop your ability to perform as an actuarial specialist on a range of strategic business change. We are currently a team of four. We support each other while working with a strong degree of individual independence alongside colleagues in IT project teams.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, especially building mathematical models
  • Ability to clearly present mathematical concepts, both verbally and in documentation
  • Experience working with business change projects, ideally over sighting test activity
  • Actuarial experience, ideally in a product pricing context. advantageous (not essential)
  • Equity Release product knowledge advantageous (not essential)

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Salary circa £27,000 – £30,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
