Data Analytics Senior Consultant

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy professional to join our team as a Data Analytics Sr. Consultant II. This role bridges the gap between data analysis and business strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will be skilled in data manipulation, visualization, and storytelling, with a strong understanding of business processes and stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from various sources.
  • Develop data products, dashboards, and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support business decisions.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions.

Business Analysis & Strategy

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define KPIs.
  • Translate business needs into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Document business processes and recommend improvements based on data findings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a liaison between data engineering, actuarial, and business units.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, business-friendly language.
  • Support project planning, prioritization, and performance tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in Insurance/InsurTech or with digital insurance platforms.
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Exposure to machine learning or AI applications in insurance.

Compensation:

Compensation offered for this role is $70,500.00 โ€“ 124,125.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
