Juniors and/or Trainees in Risk Consulting to join the Actuary team. We're looking for motivated individuals to join us in September 2024 for a permanent entry-level role or a 6-month traineeship. Our Risk Consulting practice offers a wide range of services, including advising insurers and reinsurers on strategy and core actuarial and financial areas.

With our growing team of actuaries, we help clients identify, measure, and manage risks while utilizing technology to provide innovative solutions and transform financial and regulatory reporting processes. Join us and become part of a front-facing team committed to maintaining market leadership.

What you will be working on:

  • Developing solutions to complex problems for life/non-life insurance and reinsurance companies
  • Advising clients on the topics relating to IFRS 17, Solvency II and MCEV
  • Conducting actuarial/financial model development and validation assignments
  • Supporting the audit teams in the actuarial aspects of financial statements, including but not limited to the calculation of technical provisions
  • Integrating with a young, dynamic team, working closely with our experienced consultants, and having extensive exchanges with different clients. You will support the engagement manager and project manager in preparing meetings and supporting materials.

Join us if you:

  • Are in your final year of a master's degree/PhD in either actuarial science, mathematics, economics or finance. A plus if you hold an actuarial qualification from the USA, UK, French, Belgium, German or equivalent actuarial association
  • Already have knowledge about or exposure to the insurance industry (e.g. via relevant internships), preferably as an actuary, or an analyst with IFRS 17 implementation experience
  • Have a good understanding of actuarial and statistical tools (R, Python, VBA, Prophet, etc.) and in MS office
  • Display a positive and enthusiastic attitude and can work efficiently and accurately in a challenging environment
  • Can write and structure a "complex" email/short text
  • Seek to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
  • Are fluent in English and have a good command of French/German. Any additional language will be considered as an advantage
