With over £6.8bn in cash and financial instruments and £1.8bn in borrowing, your work will have real impact — both internally at board level and externally with analysts and regulators.

  • Manage short-term liquidity for key business units, ensuring alignment with internal investment agreements.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and variance analysis to support financial planning.
  • Support daily cash management and settlement processes.
  • Assist in executing group-wide FX and investment strategies, including hedging and M&A-related flows.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A teams to ensure accurate cash reporting.
  • Maintain and improve Front Office controls, systems, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with PRA/FCA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Review new investment opportunities with banks and brokers.
  • Administer intercompany loans, including interest calculations and settlements.
  • Advise UK and overseas units on cash management, funding, and FX.
  • Support treasury-related projects including ESG, investment policy, and M&A.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bank and broker contacts.

What you'll bring

  • Professional qualification in ACA, CIMA/ACCA and/or ACT/MCT (or willingness to complete ACT).
  • Experience in a Front Office treasury role within a large, multinational company.
  • Insurance regulatory experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments in cash and FX markets.
  • Familiarity with treasury systems (e.g., Reval (preferred)/ Bloomberg).
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as Solvency II.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across finance, legal, actuarial, and market units.
