Senior Pricing Manager

Salary £70,000 - £85,000

Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pricing Manager to lead our dedicated and tenacious Retail Wealth Pricing team! This is a great job for someone who is commercially minded and delivery focused, with strong actuarial and problem-solving skills, who is keen to lead a team focused on achieving our trading plan in a rapidly growing market with major strategic focus!

A bit about the job:

The Retail Commercial & Pricing team looks after pricing retail products for the advised platform, the direct platform and bonds. The team is split into 2 areas of activity: Trading and Development. Team members will all be involved in activities for both areas to ensure that they are varied and interesting roles.

You will lead the trading team that price and review deals, provide market and trading insight and run the Intermediary and Retail trading forum. Additionally, you will support the actuarial calculations for illustrations, review costing assumptions, support the planning process and a variety of other trading activities. The role will also manage pricing involvement in asset transitions for intermediary and retail as well as deputising for the HOF Retail Wealth Pricing.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Actuary who has experience of leading a small team
  • Experience of Pricing and / or Savings business would be desirable
  • Strong commercial focus combined with technical expertise and a risk and control mindset
  • Strong communication (verbal, written) and collaboration skills
  • Proactive approach and track record of strong delivery

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Starting salary between £70,000 and £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
