Who will you be joining?

Group Actuarial (GA) is a Group Centre in Allianz SE based in Munich, Germany. GA provides oversight on actuarial reserving of several subsidiaries and works on various projects. GA is responsible for overseeing the actuarial activities of its companies worldwide.

How can you make an impact?

• Provide oversight of reserving / technical provisions and actuarial risk models
• Develop and implement actuarial techniques
• Analyse profitability of business
• Develop industry-wide guidelines and frameworks
• Work in close cooperation with subsidiaries across the globe
• Participate in cutting-edge projects with other group departments in Munich in the areas of Risk, Planning & Controlling, Accounting M&A and Center of Competence
• Lead an actuarial work stream

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified Actuary
• University degree with a major in mathematics
• 5+ years actuarial experience
• Experience in the Insurance Industry
• Ability to conduct reserve modelling analysis also in complex situations
• Fluent in English
• German and/or other language is a plus
• Good skills in MS Office
• Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good analytical and communication skills
• Experience in project management
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Excellent communication skills
