Finance Systems Architect

London / Leeds – Hybrid

What you'll be doing:

  • Play a pivotal role in supporting inbound business changes in the financial solutions function.
  • Design, implement, and maintain financial systems that align with business transformation initiatives.
  • The architect will ensure that financial systems are scalable, secure, and integrated with other enterprise systems to support evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand inbound changes and translate them into finance system requirements.
  • Design and architect finance systems to support new business processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and integration of finance systems with other enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within finance systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to finance teams during system changes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve finance system performance.

Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach. Colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office.

What you'll need:

  • Experience within the insurance industry.
  • An accountancy qualification.
  • Experience in leading and implementing transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience in finance systems architecture and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with system integration, data migration, and change management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
