INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Global Broking Centre - our Client Service Delivery team works in different product lines across Aon. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our India offices.

Typically, clients will be either a national or a multinational company, with a presence in no more than 10 overseas territories. These clients will be looking for a local relationship with their broker to provide a tailored approach towards transactional risk transfer as well as risk management advice and services.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

You will be a part of Aon’s GBC Preplacement Broking Business and will act as a key point of contact for clients/brokers and carriers, providing expert advice, high quality, innovative, and profitable service in accordance with the client’s needs and the agreed Scope of Service Agreement.

This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of insurance procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engagement with the broking teams on large, complex, global insurance contracts, involving multiple insurers and high value insurance placements.
  • Using technical systems and engaging with Offshore Partners to produce policy documents and invoice requests.
  • Increasing the level of processing knowledge and driving continuous improvement in all areas of processing.
  • Building strong relationships with UK colleagues, brokers, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Sharing best practices.
  • Monitoring the risk life cycle and your workflow to ensure your policies are on track with performance targets.
  • Collaborating with Client Service Delivery colleagues to meet divisional targets.
  • Establishing and developing effective working relationships with Insurers and, where appropriate, liaising with Insurers as per agreed parameters and processes to support client service delivery.
  • Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.
  • Taking ownership of problems and their resolution, seeking assistance where necessary.
  • Strong communication skills.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • In-depth understanding of slip documentation and premiums calculations.
  • Expertise in managing and handling insurance slips, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency in producing Market Reform Contracts (MRCs) and understanding their importance in the insurance industry.
  • Strong skills in calculating premiums accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and solve complex problems, providing innovative solutions.
  • Strong experience across the Insurance Services industry. Candidates with slip and premiums backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Passionate, curious, engaging individual who enjoys human interactions and developing deep relationships and connections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent attention to detail, as you will be drafting detailed reports and client communications.
