Actuarial Consultant

Description and Requirements

Support the development, testing, and deployment of Actuarial Models according to MetLife’s Global Actuarial Modeling coding standards.

Oversee modelling efforts and engage with stakeholders to test, analyze, and quantify impacts of model changes.

Support production model runs in a controlled environment to reduce model risk.

Ensure compliance with regulations and be responsible for audits, regulator requests, and other related tasks.

Support in the specification and validation of new valuation methodologies, models, and product implementations.

Develop and support the team in areas such as automation projects, production steward reviews of models for new product pricing, and completion of local statutory valuation filings.

Be actively involved in UAT testing, valuations, and modelling new products.
