Your Future Team
AIG’s Pricing & Portfolio Personal Insurance team is the analytical powerhouse behind our Personal Lines strategy. We lead the development of pricing models, portfolio monitoring tools, and advanced analytics across multiple Lines of Business. The team works closely with Underwriting, Product, Claims, and Reserving Actuaries to ensure our pricing is competitive, sustainable, and aligned with AIG’s business goals.
Your Contribution to AIG
As part of the team, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and monitoring of the actuarial pricing models and portfolio strategies that support growth and profitability across our Personal Insurance business. Your insights and analysis will directly impact underwriting decisions and strategic initiatives, helping AIG stay ahead in a dynamic and competitive market.
As an Actuarial Statistical Analyst, you will:
- Develop and enhance actuarial pricing models using GLMs or other predictive methods.
- Perform rate reviews and support rate filings with analytical justifications.
- Analyze portfolio performance and support pricing strategies with data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with regional and local teams across Product, Underwriting, and Claims.
- Build dashboards, tools, and reports to monitor performance and support decision-making.
- Contribute to innovation projects.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in an actuarial, pricing, or data analytics role (Insurance industry).
- Proficiency in Excel and programming languages (R, Python, and SQL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Passion for learning and growing in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
