About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Actuary with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to join our Pricing & Analytics team. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Contributing to pricing and analytics activities that support commercial decisions such as pricing, repricing, and product strategy, ensuring alignment with performance insights and business objectives;
- Delivering performance analytics across claims, lapses, sales, and business mix to identify emerging trends and shape business actions;
- Using strong coding and data skills (particularly in R) to deliver analysis that is both technically robust and operationally efficient;
- Developing and deploying AI and automation solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, insight generation, and decision-making;
- Ensuring analysis is both technically sound and commercially relevant, with a clear understanding of downstream impacts on valuation, financial results, and pricing strategy;
- Partnering across functions to develop and communicate the ANZ view on experience in a way that is accessible, consistent, and impactful;
- Driving end-to-end data uplift, including client data validation methods and addressing process or quality gaps that impact analysis;
- Supporting the development and sharing of insights, tools, and solutions across internal teams (not limited to actuarial), global colleagues, and clients to maximize impact and value;
- Monitoring market intelligence and developments (company, product, industry-wide), participating in industry bodies where appropriate;
- Collaborating with and coaching offshore team members.
