About the role
- Support actuarial analysis and reporting using standard techniques and tools.
- Contribute to business-as-usual tasks and project work across the Finance & Actuarial teams: Business Quality Management, New Business Reporting, Pensions and Protection Pricing.
- Assist in maintaining and improving actuarial models, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Apply knowledge from actuarial studies to real-world tasks and problem-solving.
- Help identify risks and suggest improvements to processes and controls.
- Progress through actuarial exams with support from a structured study programme.
About you
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Graduate in a mathematical discipline with an interest in actuarial science or currently studying towards the actuarial exams.
- Fewer than 4 scoring passes at Core level of actuarial qualification.
- Good understanding of life and pensions products and actuarial techniques.
- Proficient in Excel and other relevant software tools.
- Clear and confident communication skills—written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage workload effectively.
