The Team You Will Join
The MetLife Product Team operates across multiple markets. It is divided into three sub-teams: pricing, value proposition, and Group products. The pricing and value proposition sub-teams are responsible for developing competitive insurance pricing strategies that align with sustainability goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
The Group product sub-team manages Credit Life and Employee Benefits Insurance Business, developing products suitable for customers of group institutions such as banks and financial institutions.
The Opportunity
The MetLife Product Team is focused on developing competitive insurance pricing strategies that align with sustainability goals.
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Prepare the pricing for new quotes or update existing offers, ensuring the solution meets customer needs.
- Coordinate with the implementation team to ensure that the product quoted is successfully implemented in MetLife systems.
- Participate in the renewal processes of the current portfolio, understanding the experience and building key assumptions used in pricing.
- Offer solutions for various requests from current partners, such as updates in current offers or administrative issues requiring Product support.
- Support the pricing strategy for Bancassurance business.
- Maintain a close relationship with the regional team for various reporting.
- Provide competitive market information.
- Simplify current processes and increase efficiency.
- Document, manage, and improve procedures currently in place.
- Build approval documentation for new product initiatives, collaborating with various departments.
- Develop and apply a deep understanding of the full cycle in pricing, modeling, and review.
- Communicate clearly, precisely, and effectively.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
- Educated in a technical field (Mathematics, Economy, or other relevant areas). Actuarial education is an asset.
- Exams at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries from the UK or equivalent are appreciated.
- Experience in pricing of life products is an asset.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong computer skills in all MS packages.
