Position Overview:
This role plays a significant role in evaluating and pricing Individual Life (IL) reinsurance opportunities in our fast-growing individual life division. Specifically, you will be responsible for evaluating reinsurance opportunities, collaborating internally and externally to establish new partnerships, and helping manage a growing book of multi-line business.
This position requires substantial technical expertise and developing knowledge of individual life insurance.
Your Role:
Support the evaluation, structuring, and pricing of M&A and block reinsurance opportunities:
- Perform diligence on appraisal and other process documents
- Support in asset intensive deal structuring efforts
- Develop pricing assumptions to provide appropriate views into the performance of the subject business
- Use asset intensive deal models to assist in analyzing various opportunities
- Run AXIS pricing model projections, analyze and summarize results
- Perform peer reviews
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Mathematics, Accounting
- 8+ years actuarial employment in the life insurance/reinsurance industry
- FSA designation required
- Pricing and product development experience required
- Experience working with modeling software and interpreting results
- Moody’s Axis experience preferred

The base salary range anticipated for this position is $176,532 to $246,585, plus an opportunity for an annual company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay.
