Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Assist with Taiwan & Hong Kong year-end Actuarial Report, USGAAP, local statutory reserving work, external audit, and peer reviews with the utmost accuracy</li><li>Assist with implementation of IFRS 17 reporting</li><li>Assist with preparation and review on capital and solvency projection</li><li>Provide support to the Regional all lines budget loss ratio exercise</li><li>Assist with Regional pricing work</li><li>Keep abreast of local regulatory requirements</li><li>Strong ownership in improving process efficiency</li></ul>What we are looking for:<ul><li>Candidate with Mathematics/Actuarial/Statistics/Economics or any related degree background</li><li>Familiarity with traditional actuarial techniques and models a plus</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team as well as take responsibility for individual contributions</li><li>Eye for detail</li><li>Utmost integrity</li><li>Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize own work</li><li>Effective time management and strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to forge relationships with other areas of the business</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, VBA</li><li>Knowledge in R, Python, SQL a plus</li></ul>We are an equal opportunity employerIt has been and will continue to be the policy of American International Group, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
