Job DescriptionThis provides as opportunity for the successful candidate to enhance theirtechnical and analytical skills within a local and global context. ResponsibilitiesKey duties and responsibilities<ul><li>Under direct supervision, conduct analyses that adhere to actuarial standards of practice: select appropriate data sources and methods, make assumptions, recognize considerations and develop recommendations.</li><li>Become familiar with data sources and requirements; retrieve and manipulate data. </li><li>Analyse data on premium and claims for experience analysis.</li><li>Develop knowledge of actuarial methodologies by assisting in the creation/revision of actuarial models and tools for automation. </li><li>Assist senior actuaries in activities across pricing, valuation, data analytics and marketing.</li><li>Assist in conducting research.</li><li>Other adhoc tasks.</li></ul>QualificationsExperience: - No prior actuarial work experience required. Knowledge of advanced mathematics and statistical Skills and Personal Competences:<ul><li>Effective verbal and written communication, time management and organization skills.</li><li>Ability to comprehend actuarial concepts and other advanced statistical concepts.</li><li>Ability to think logically and perform accurate calculations in a timely manner.</li><li>Ability to use personal computer, ppt slides, and Microsoft Office (including visual basic).</li><li>Ability to use Python or SQL preferable. </li><li>Strong problem solving and analytical thinking ability.</li><li>Team player.</li><li>Culturally flexible and sensitive.</li></ul>About us SCOR, the 4th largest reinsurer in the world, provides insurance companies with a diversified and innovative range of solutions and services to control and manage risk.
