Description<ul><li>Work closely with a team of consultants based in Asia delivering high-quality work to our clients, working with some of the best actuarial experts in the region.</li><li>Work on diverse range of actuarial projects (actuarial modeling, reporting, pricing, M&amp;A, etc.)</li><li>Contribute to research projects and innovate new solutions to help our clients.</li><li>Work effectively and efficiently in project teams led by senior actuaries.</li><li>Help develop and maintain client and internal relationships.</li><li>Work in a flexible and fast-paced environment.</li></ul>As a core individual within the team, you will support the development and successful delivery on a diverse range of projects across the South East Asian markets. This is likely to include work in mergers and acquisitions, modelling, pricing of new products, and valuation of life insurance companies, amongst others. Candidates should have the following skills and attributes:<ul><li>Graduate of a program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or other numerate degree subject with strong academic record. What You do:<ul><li>Ensuring the appropriateness of reserving methods and assumptions used for any new products being developed besides reviewing their profitability.</li><li>Estimating fair liabilities based or financial projections on relevant assumptions, appropriate data or proper actuarial methodology in accordance with local financial authority guidelines and applicable financial standards.</li><li>Maintaining company’s solvability ratio in accordance with applicable regulations.</li><li>Ensuring the local monthly or yearly regular submission including annual reinsurance program to comply local authority requirement in timely manner and providing actuary report with description if any deviation of assumption between expected risk to the incurrent event along with recommendation to keep company performance to meet its future liability.</li><li>Maintaining collaboration with risk management team in monitoring actuarial aspect of product, reinsurance arrangement and business plan.</li></ul>What You bring:<ul><li>Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent).</li><li>A strong academic record, with at least bachelor degree in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Statistics or Business.</li><li>Strong Excel skills.</li><li>Working knowledge of other Microsoft products such as Word, PowerPoint etc.</li><li>Familiarity with actuarial reserving, pricing or capital modelling techniques and software.</li><li>Engaging at all levels of seniority, build strong relationships and influence effectively.</li></ul>Allianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
