Ownership of ADM APM extension data.</li><li>Collaboration with CorSo Data Insights leadership and colleagues.</li><li>Data Governance; Support the CorSo data governance initiatives around data ownership, quality and compliance.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Actuarial Analytics: Plug and Play Actuarial Tools<ul><li>Learning and development across the APM team</li><li>Support the regression testing, production, and maintenance, of plug and play actuarial tools; ensuring coding best practice and application of Git principles.</li><li>Ensure independent consumption from and feedback to analytical toolkits.</li><li>Capture and manage toolkit throughput and data in Stargate.</li><li>Support the development of applications to interface with the Actuaries.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and other development activities to support high-quality solutions aligned with the needs of the actuaries and other stakeholders.</li><li>Data Governance; Support the CorSo data governance initiatives around data ownership, quality and compliance.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Actuarial Models: Developing, Productionizing and Maintaining<ul><li>Learning and development across the APM team</li><li>Supporting the development, regression testing, production, and maintenance, of R models; ensuring coding best practice and application of Git principles.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and other development activities to support high-quality solutions aligned with the needs of key stakeholders.</li><li>Support the CICD, and Agile efforts via JIRA.</li><li>Model Governance; Document code, model design, and testing procedures for future reference.</li><li>Collaboration with CorSo Information Technology on DevSecOps</li><li>Support the CorSo Information Technology in deployment and maintenance of industrial grade models on Costing Workbench.</li></ul></li></ul>About You<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in actuarial modeling, data engineering, data science and software related environments.</li><li>Property &amp; Casualty experience preferred.</li><li>B.A./B.Sc. or higher in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics or discipline of comparable rigor.</li><li>Membership in an Actuarial Society or Actuarial background preferred.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Actuarial modeling and methods.</li><li>Data Science experience a plus.</li><li>Strong programming skills in languages such as Hadoop, Spark, Java, C, C++, Python, R, or Julia.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Palantir, Google Snowflake, or GCP.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>A strong work ethic which exhibits an ability to complete tasks working within a small group both as a member of the group and a leader of the group.</li><li>Dynamic and entrepreneurial thinker, with attention to detail and willingness to take on a variety of projects and develop solutions.</li></ul>About Swiss Re Corporate SolutionsSwiss Re is one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer.
