The primary purpose of this position is to provide advanced actuarial analyses based upon generally accepted actuarial principles. This role will also provide direction and oversight of more junior level actuaries.The completed analyses will be used by internal business leaders for data-based decision making. These analyses may relate to various areas of actuarial expertise, including Pricing, Reserving, Reinsurance, Corporate Reporting, or combinations of these areas.At this level, solid communication skills are essential.Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsibilities include those assigned to a Sr. Actuarial Analyst, and may also include:</li><li>Providing guidance to non-actuaries on actuarial principles and concepts.</li><li>Representing the Department on cross-functional teams.</li><li>Preparing and presenting material explaining actuarial concepts and findings.</li><li>Supporting corporate goals and principles, and communicating those to more junior staff.</li></ul>
