Many of our professionals started on this program as interns.Our comprehensive "learning by doing" experience will provide you with a realistic look at what it means to have an actuarial career at Gallagher through job shadowing, presentations, client project assignments, analysis, and more.You'll be given exposure to all divisions and service lines with the opportunity to work in one primary area:<ul><li>Insurance under Gallagher Global Brokerage</li><li>HR Services under Gallagher Benefit Services</li><li>Risk management under Risk Placement Services</li><li>Claims under Gallagher Bassett Services</li><li>Reinsurance under Gallagher Re</li></ul>How you'll make an impactOn a day-to-day basis you'll learn and develop skills in five core areas:<ul><li>Understanding Actuarial Consulting - Shadowing our professionals to learn actuarial concepts on a project driven basis; Attend client meetings.</li><li>Professional Development - Attending our National Intern Orientation event, weekly training events and client projects; Multi-task to meet deadlines with quality and accurate deliverables.</li><li>Building Professional Acumen - Learning about our businesses; Providing financial monitoring reports; Preparing contribution strategies for various product lines; Preparing financial exhibits, data, letters, presentations and other client deliverables.</li><li>Being a Team Player - Helping with various regional and/or branch projects, showing your passion to learn and be mentored by employees excited to help you navigate your future.</li><li>Culture - You'll experience first-hand the impact our "Gallagher Way" has on how we do business.</li></ul>About You<ul><li>We're looking for people who are excited to explore a career in client relations that is rewarding personally, professionally, and financially.</li><li>With a self-starter attitude, you'll be collaborative and have the enthusiasm to understand people's needs.</li><li>You'll be able to manage relationships, provide leadership where needed, and demonstrate your interpersonal skills when working well with others.</li><li>You'll be able to organize yourself and your work, have the ability to multi-task and have a passion to build a supportive network.</li><li>If you have all that, we know you'll thrive within our growing entrepreneurial Fortune 500 organization!</li><li>Rising sophomores and juniors with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027.</li><li>Availability to participate within program dates: June 2nd, 2025 and ends: August 1st, 2025.</li><li>Preferred areas of study include, but are not limited to the following: Risk Management and Insurance, Reinsurance, Finance, Actuary, Economics, or Mathematics.</li><li>Preferred: On the SOA Exam Track.</li><li>Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.</li></ul>Compensation and benefitsOn top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
