Actuarial Science Intern (50% working degree, 6 months)

About the Role

The Actuarial Science Intern must be able to provide support to our team and be interested in the reinsurance market, especially in the Life and Health department. As an Actuarial Science Intern, reporting to the L&H Client Managers, you will support technical and actuarial aspects of the relationship with clients in our Iberian market.

Together with our team you will:

  • Support the maintenance of our pricing/costing basis.
  • Support build and develop models and tools to assist with costing processes.
  • Assist the pricing process, modelling new products and scenarios and helping prepare auditable documentation.
  • Support other actuarial related tasks within the team.

About You

  • Team player, with a high level of integrity.
  • Analytical and results-oriented working style.
  • Good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Mature and proactive; showing a high degree of own initiative.
  • Have a clear interest in, and understanding of, the re/insurance market (in particular Life and Health).


  • To be enrolled on a field related undergrad or master's degree – that allows you to apply for a part/full time internship (signed agreement with University / Business School).
  • High proficiency with common IT applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Spanish speaker with excellent level of business English as all our communications are in English.
