Actuarial Intern (Group Life & Accident)
Opportunity to work approximately 15-20 hours per week throughout the spring semester, and then full time during the Summer as part of SCOR's U.S. Internship Program. Opportunity to continue into the Fall 2024 school year as well. Flexible, hybrid work schedule allows Interns to gain valuable professional experience balanced with school.
Responsibilities
- Support the actuaries and underwriters through active participation in projects and meetings
- Communicate and collaborate with other SCOR employees, both in Minneapolis and globally, to successfully complete projects and team goals
- Assist with concentration data management
- Assist in research to supplement pricing and risk management where needed
- Prepare project related reports and presentations
- Perform other actuarial related activities in support of the team
Qualifications
- Analytically minded with strong communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and working with data
- Comfortable learning new software or programming languages
- Preference for students in an Actuarial Science program
- Demonstrated success in passing actuarial exams
