Actuarial Summer Intern
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone currently studying Actuarial Studies to join our Actuarial Management team over the 2023/2024 summer University vacation. The primary focus of this role is to assist the Actuarial Management team with year end Financial reporting and various project assignments.
Swiss Re Australia's Life & Health Actuarial Management team comprises approximately two dozen staff across our Sydney and Bangalore offices, responsible for delivering all actuarial reporting requirements and for developing a deep understanding of the diverse and complex reinsurance business in Australia and New Zealand. Our team strives to proactively provide actionable insights to senior leaders locally and globally. We collaborate with cross functional teams throughout Swiss Re to help deliver efficiently implemented projects and reinsurance offerings to our clients. We are constantly striving to use the latest analytical tools to provide more insights to both our internal partners and our clients.
If you are comfortable working with large and heterogeneous data sets, have a genuine interest in a career in Insurance or Reinsurance, possess proficient interpersonal and communication skills, able to demonstrate a clear and articulate standard of written and verbal communication, have strong time management and excellent ability to prioritize tasks and work independently, and possess agility and flexibility with strong dedication for success, then we would love to hear from you!
