Actuarial Data Analyst

As such, we are looking for a talented and motivated Data Analyst to help us build world class tech solutions to better serve our customers. Collaborate with experienced data scientists and engineers to create innovative solutions and tackle complex problems.

As a Data Analyst in our UK Pricing & Underwriting Team, you'll use data-driven insights to identify fraudsters and to come up with new ideas to improve our pricing capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing the performance of our business using a variety of tools such as SQL, Tableau, Google Sheets and Python
- Crafting insightful Tableau dashboards for monitoring purposes
- Assisting senior management with quantitative analyses to forecast and calculate our Loss Rate
- Developing intelligent, real-time notification systems via Slack or Databricks to streamline claim and policy investigations
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- A recent degree and up to 1 year of experience in data analytics
- Basic/intermediate SQL skills
- The ability to use or learn Tableau
- An analytical mindset and an understanding of basic statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing and statistical significance
- Willingness to learn new tools such as Python
Desirable Attributes:
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Python or similar object oriented programming language skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in STEM
