Senior Actuarial Analyst

This role will mainly focus on bringing the L&H Smart Circles ambition to reality by participating in and becoming a key contributing member to one or multiple workstreams led centrally within PSM. You are expected to bring new ideas within this collaborative setting to identify key risks underlying the America's L&H business and to propose mitigating actions.

In addition, you will conduct due diligence on new Large Transactions, onboard new transaction wins and monitor the performance of America's L&H large transactions. You will also support core InForce management activities such as client recaptures, exception requests, changes to treaty terms and conditions, and provide expert knowledge services to the cross functional teams when needed.

You will have the opportunity to engage and collaborate with global leaders across the company. The success of these workstreams will enable the effective execution of portfolio steering and management actions that will be critical in delivering our L&H financial targets.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the America's Transactions Onboarding and Monitoring team within the L&H Portfolio Steering & Monitoring (PSM) unit. You will work with all levels of actuarial professionals across multiple locations in US and Canada.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working experience in L&H reinsurance; Understanding of internal data infrastructure is a plus
  • College Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • Ability to effectively communicate across various level of professionals
  • Strong desire for continuous growth and development
  • Able to adapt to fluctuating business needs and requirements
  • You are attentive, organized, and able to work independently, as needed
