Senior Actuarial Analyst (Corporate)

Position objectives and position summary:

Support the L&H Actuarial System/Process team in End to End & co-ordination of IFRS production, centralized testing of L&H actuarial systems, co-ordination/communication activities with various teams such as IT, Regional Actuarial teams, Testing Management teams and L&H IT Production Operations teams.

Main tasks/activities/responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating/Managing with IT teams, Regional Teams, Testing management Teams, Defect Management teams in supporting IFRS Production runs and UAT testing, getting the required signoffs from regions for production releases or patch releases.
  • Establishing single point of contact for End to end delivery management, including communication of RAG staton key risks on deliverables, resources across stakeholders from different functions
  • Supporting & Resolving IT system issues during production including issue investigation/ proposing solutions
  • Co-ordination activities include supporting/updating regions actively on system upgrades and enable them to use the various L&H systems effectively and efficiently
  • Standardizing functionalities and process required for IFRS Local and Group reporting process
  • Prepare user training materials for reporting and conducting user trainings

About You:

  • Graduate or Post Graduate with more than 5 years of experience in actuarial/IT, with experience handling project delivery management, technical IT support to resolve actuarial system issues (System support teams)
  • Ability to work accurately and deliver on a timely manner
  • Exposure to actuarial valuation process with experience in working with actuaries will be an added advantage
  • Must be able to write & interpret business specs and ask clarifying questions
  • Strong co-ordination and analysis skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong learning motive and lead projects
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and production/UAt support management
  • Exposure to reporting tools would be an additional advantage (MSBI/PowerBI)
