Actuarial Intern


  • Provide technical support on reinsurance pricing
  • Conduct data and experience analysis for existing products and portfolio to assist management in gauging the healthiness of the business
  • Produce market intelligence on life and health insurance products and market trends across four major markets (HK, SEA, India and Taiwan)
  • Identify product opportunities and assist Taiwan team to develop them into concrete product designs with appropriate product propositions
  • Assist in research and presentation preparations for product development and other initiatives to regional clients
  • Source the relevant insurtech and startup companies for the client solutions/propositions
  • Work closely with business development team and participate in projects to enhance client relationships and new business opportunities for the South Asia region (HK, Taiwan, SEA)
  • Provide support to the local markets as needed. The support includes but is not limited to pricing data project, experience analysis and product/market presentation


  • Minimum second year of Actuarial Program, or Business, Finance, Economics
  • Previous working experience or internship in a similar environment is not required but will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good team player and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite office, Programming and VBA;
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English and good at Chinese
