ActuarIal Analyst
Your Tasks:
- Calculate exposure to catastrophic risks such as cyber, terrorism or natural catastrophe risks for the globally operating Hannover Re Group.
- Advise specialist units on matters relating to the recording and monitoring of aggregates as well as capacity tracking and planning.
- Contribute to the preparation, updating and ongoing refinement of scenario analyses.
- Assist with the (further) development of the department's internal IT applications.
- Regularly report on all key indicators necessary for risk measurement for the Group, the subsidiaries and for external requirements.
Your Profile:
- Degree in mathematics, business mathematics or related academic disciplines with a quantitative orientation.
- Basic programming skills as well as knowledge of databases and IT affinity.
- Initial experience in risk management or the actuarial office with an insurer or reinsurer is an advantage.
- Confident manner when presenting complex scenarios.
- Independent user skills in German (level B1) and proficient user skills in English (level C1).
- Willingness to go on occasional business trips.
