Actuarial Analyst
This role supports the Life & Health Pricing Office Asia Pacific in regional projects and initiatives; as well as providing support for other teams around the Asia region.
Responsibilities:
- Point of contact for governance queries from the market teams, other governance tasks such as updating Asia Costing and Pricing standards
- Support in maintenance and development for regional tools – CPT, SGPC and Multi-pay CI tool
- Provide support to market and structured solutions teams for pricing transactions
- Provide support for projects within Experience studies insights
- Support Pricing Office or Market teams on any projects as required
- Conduct research/investigation on insurance-related topics or costing basis
About the Team:
Pricing office Bangalore team is a part of L&H Pricing Office Asia Pacific. Team consists of 11 members currently located in Bangalore, working closely with the Asia pricing community
About You:
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or related majors
- Good actuarial exam progress of a recognized actuarial professional body
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, R/Python or any other related coding language
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Relevant experience in actuarial functions (ex: pricing, valuation) and actuarial tools for 3 – 5 years
- You have attention to detail and keenness to learn
- You have prioritization and planning skills
- You have the ability and courage to constructively challenge status quo, but also have the business mind-set to be solutions oriented
