Summer Intern (Reserving)
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the actuaries and underwriters through active participation in projects and meetings
- Communicate and collaborate with other SCOR employees, both in Minneapolis and globally, to successfully complete projects and team goals
- Assist with concentration data management
- Assist in research to supplement pricing and risk management where needed
- Prepare project related reports and presentations
- Other actuarial related activities in support of the team
Requirements:
- Analytically minded with strong communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and working with data
- Comfortable learning new software or programming languages
- Preference for students in an Actuarial Science program
- Demonstrated success in passing actuarial exams, at least 1 exam passed
- Enrolled in a bachelors or graduate degree and not graduating until at the minimum of December 2023
