Actuarial Analyst
Salary between £30,000 - £40,000
Are you currently seeking a new opportunity with the prospects to develop your leadership skills through helping more junior team members? We are currently seeking an Actuarial Analyst to be a part of our New Business Reporting team!
The New Business Reporting team collaborates with a wide number of stakeholders including Finance Business Partners, Pricing, Operations and Group to produce and explain key trading performance metrics. The metrics cover all UK Life insurance products including Bulk Purchase Annuities, Individual Annuities, Equity Release, Protection, Platform and Pensions.

This role could be ideal for you if you are seeking a varied and stimulating position. As the Actuarial Analyst, you will be provided with an exciting opportunity to work on UK Life New Business Reporting metrics and provide insight to UK Life’s trading performance. The work is varied and can be flexed to suit your strengths and preferences.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Process improvement mindset - ability to develop spreadsheet models (some VBA) in a controlled way
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work independently, using their own initiative and know when to escalate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team working and interpersonal skills
What you’ll get for this role:
- Salary between £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
