Senior Consultant/Manager

KPMG Advisory's non-life actuarial team in Hong Kong helps insurers set and execute their strategy, in addition to providing advice in core actuarial areas of capital management and financial reporting. For example, we get involved in business planning, market entry/exit transactions and risk management projects, often working in cross-functional teams. We use technology to maximise insights from and transform existing financial and regulatory reporting processes.

Experience & Background

• A minimum of five years relevant actuarial experience in the non-life actuarial work; candidates with less experience and relevant qualifications will be considered for the position of Senior Consultant
• Actuarial and risk management experience in general insurance firms highly preferred
• Good progress with the professional actuarial exams
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and Chinese while proficiency in Mandarin is desirable
• Self-starter with good analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to multi-task, be flexible, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Experience in emerging technologies in data visualisation and/or data analysis is a plus
